My BIO
Believe it or not I’m a native Coloradoan. I graduated from Arapahoe High School in Littleton and then received my bachelor’s degree from Colorado State University in Fort Collins. I attended Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago, Illinois for my professional dental training and graduated in 1981. After dental school, I returned to Colorado and bought my present dental practice. My office is located in a restored mansion with beautiful mountain views. I have been in the same location for forty years. My wife Diane, also a native of Colorado, and I have been married for thirty-one years and have two children. Our family is actively involved with alpine ski racing. My wife and I train with Colorado Alpine Masters and compete in the Rocky Mountain Master’s Program. We proudly support the US Ski Team. During the summer my wife and I are cyclists. Diane competes with her team "DNA" in road races. Austin, our son, graduated from Colorado School of Mines with a degree in chemical engineering and and a masters in mechanical engineering. Makena, our daughter graduated from St. Mary's Academy and received her degree in psychology from University of Colorado. She graduated from Boston College with a law degree. She passed her bar the first time and is working for the District Attorney for Grand County in Hot Sulphur Springs. My practice is a small, modern, preventive oriented dental practice in a warm, friendly, professional atmosphere. I am able to see one patient at a time. This is an advantage to treating more complex cases and I can focus on the individual patient. The office is computerized with Dexis digital radiography and Carestream 1500 Intraoral Camera. I use surgical magnification with fiber optic lighting for all procedures. Implant and restorative cases are treated using the Carestream 3600 3D digital scanner. I believe that each patient should have a treatment plan with goals that can be reasonably obtained for their unique situation. I am committed to my profession and enjoy dentistry, and my patients.
